Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a nurse to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care at Henry Ford Hospital. The role emphasizes using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching for patients and families.

Qualified candidates will have graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan licensure, and BCLS certification. BSN preferred; 36 hours weekly with midnight shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. Full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate care plans.
• Ability to perform wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient information to care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and implements solutions.
