Qualifications

• RN with two years acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry experience
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Registered Nurse: CA RN, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - BLS, upon hire

Responsabilités

• Abuse protection and reporting: assess, identify and report abuse and neglect; document findings.
• Advance directives: educate on directives, obtain copies for charts, refer to chaplain services.
• Advocacy, patient: act as client advocate to improve care and inform decisions.
• Assessment: formulate diagnoses, prioritize care based on observations and team input.
• Blood withdrawal: perform aseptic blood specimen collection and labeling.
• Central line care and maintenance: care, maintenance, and discontinuation of central lines.
