Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or higher preferred.
• Current California State RN License.
• ACLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years acute RN experience in cardiology or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care that ensures safety, comfort, hygiene, and timely delivery.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention and restorative measures.
• Administer medications and therapeutic agents vital to treatment plans.
• Perform skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy and IV access initiation.
• Observe and assess signs of illness and reactions; initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
• Plan and implement individualized patient care with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
