Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a cardiac telemetry floor to provide safe, patient-centered care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The role involves evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other caregivers, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality on a unit that manages post-op CABG, TAVR, and other cardiac interventions.

Qualifications

• RN-level nursing care experience on a cardiac/telemetry unit.
• BLS certification, ACLS/other certifications as required by unit.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers and coordinate with the team.
• Perform clinical duties on a cardiac telemetry floor with varied acuity and post-operative patients.
