Job summary

WellSpan Health's Tele Observation unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to implement, direct, and coordinate patient care using the nursing process on a 12-hour night shift. Qualifications

• Customer service behaviors and communication skills required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Evidence of participation in educational programs to update and maintain clinical skills.
• PA RN license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, and coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
• Demonstrate safe medication practice and accurate transcription of orders.
• Provide patient education and family communication.
• Lead unit activities and supervise staff while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Function as a virtual nurse as assigned.
• Attend staff/committee meetings and participate in professional development.
