Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking an RN for the Telemetry/Observation Unit. The 30-bed unit cares for cardiac, medical, and surgical patients with a structured orientation and residency for new grads.

The role supports professional growth through a Clinical Ladder and offers leadership presence on every shift. Shift is 12-hour nights from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with every third weekend and a typical biweekly total of 72 hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• ACLS and CPR certifications are required for unit practice.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrates safe medication practice and accurate physician order transcription.
• Participates in staff meetings and contributes to unit committee discussions.
• Mentorship and professional growth through the Clinical Ladder; leadership on every shift.
• Supports admissions, discharges, education and documentation via virtual platform.
