Job summary

The Staff Pad in Wausau, WI is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high‑acuity Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This role offers 12‑hour shifts, day and night rotations, and exposure to post‑operative open‑heart, CHF, and vascular cases in a busy, supportive environment.

You will monitor complex patients, manage multiple drips, and work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Wisconsin RN licensure or compact license eligibility, plus BLS and ACLS, are required or encouraged for graduates

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experienced RNs and new graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to high‑acuity cardiac and medical patients.
• Monitor complex patients and manage multiple drips.
• Care for patients with chest tubes and central lines.
• Assess patients and recognize changes in condition.
