Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a regional healthcare provider in Wausau, WI to recruit Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry Unit. You will care for complex patients in a fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience with cardiac care.

We welcome both experienced RNs and new graduates who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and clear communication. This role offers full-time hours, day and night shifts, and opportunities to grow within the cardiac specialty.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or eligibility through a compact license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in high-acuity cardiac/telemetry nursing preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Ability to think critically and communicate effectively in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to high-acuity cardiac and medical patients.
• Monitor complex patients and manage multiple drips on the telemetry unit.
• Care for patients with chest tubes and central lines.
• Assess patients and recognize changes in condition; respond promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
