Job summary

The Staff Pad, in Wausau, WI, is partnering with a regional healthcare organization to hire Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This full-time role offers days and nights on 12-hour shifts and a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You’ll care for patients with postoperative open-heart, CHF, and vascular conditions, gaining hands-on experience with chest tubes, central lines, and multiple drips, while growing clinically and professionally with an experienced nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experienced RNs and new graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to high-acuity cardiac and medical patients
• Monitor complex patients and manage multiple drips
• Care for patients with chest tubes and central lines
• Assess patients and recognize changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams; deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting
