Job summary

The Staff Pad in partnership with a regional healthcare organization in Wausau, WI, is seeking Registered Nurses for a high-acuity Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This role offers the opportunity to develop advanced cardiac nursing skills while caring for complex patients in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide care for post-operative and vascular cardiac patients, monitor multiple drips, and work with chest tubes and central lines.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Experienced RNs and new graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to high-acuity cardiac and medical patients.
• Monitor complex patients and manage multiple drips.
• Care for patients with chest tubes and central lines.
• Assess patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.
