CommonSpirit Health in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse to provide expert nursing care in a dynamic unit with a focus on cardiac and telemetry services. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adolescent to geriatric patients, guiding a team of staff to deliver high-quality care with urgency and compassion.

Formación

• RN with two years of current, acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry experience.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Abuse Protection and Reporting: assesses and reports patient abuse and neglect.
• Advance Directives: documents education regarding advance directives and coordinates copies for chart.
• Advocacy, Patient: acts as the client’s advocate to improve health care decisions.
• Assessment: formulates nursing diagnoses and prioritizes patient problems.
• Blood Withdrawal: performs aseptic technique for blood specimen collection.
• Central Line Care and Maintenance: demonstrates care and maintenance of central lines.

Educación

RN license CA

CPR certification

Graduate of an approved school of nursing

Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN)
