Qualifications

• Licensure: Texas license or NLC compact, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments with age-specific considerations.
• Develops and communicates care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritizes nursing interventions based on assessments and changes in condition.
• Documents interventions and care plan modifications in a timely manner.
• Adheres to hospital policies, standards, and evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient and family education and discharge planning.
