Job summary

Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Telemetry on a full-time night schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours weekly. The 28-bed Telemetry unit provides Med/Surg level care with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and opportunities for education and leadership growth.

Required: Nursing Diploma or ASN, Texas RN license, BCLS, ACLS, CPI within 90 days, and 1 year RN experience or RN residency; telemetry/Med/Surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic human needs.
• Shows recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using the Nursing Process: assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate.
• Maintains age-appropriate safety and infection control measures.
• Ensures continuity of patient care during shifts and during transfers.

Education

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
