Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Telemetry Unit on the night shift. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period) and collaborates with nurses and doctors to ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will take vitals, assist with mobility and meals, collect specimens, and promptly report changes to the nursing staff. A high school diploma or GED and BLS/CPR certification are required or provided during orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required (orientation can provide).
• No prior experience required; STNA/CNA/PCT training acceptable.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Check temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Help patients move, dress, and eat.
• Collect samples such as urine.
• Report changes in a patient's condition to a nurse.
• Assist with patient walks, hygiene, and vital tracking.
