Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Patient Care Technician for cardiac telemetry night shifts. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide essential patient care and support daily living activities.

You will assist with vital signs, measurements, and nourishment while promptly reporting observations to the nurse. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of the RN.
• Take and record vital signs and measurements.
• Assist with daily activities and personal care.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse promptly.
• Assist with meals and nutrition, including room service.
• Perform basic procedures as trained.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort.
