Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide direct patient care on 4G, a 20-bed telemetry unit focused on post-op CABG patients, CHF and moderate risk chest pain cases.

Under the direction of an RN, you will perform selected nursing procedures, support medical staff, monitor patients, and assist in exams and treatments as needed. Night shifts and PRN hours offer flexibility for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• KY Nurse Aide Certification or first-year nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Letter from school verifying completion of first-year clinicals.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures.
• Perform routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in examinations, treatment, and care of patients.
