Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 East Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This per diem role focuses on cardiac telemetry and complex cardiac care for diverse medical and surgical patients.

You will participate in competency-based orientation and deliver high-quality nursing care, coordinating with the care team and families to meet patient needs while following evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an RN license in NH.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac telemetry unit.
• NH RN license required; ADN or BSN degree accepted.
• Within 30 days: Basic Life Support; 90 days: IV therapy and central line management.
• Within 180 days: rhythm interpretation/telemetry monitoring; 1 year: CC meds/infusions and post-vascular care; 18 months: ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement priority-based nursing care for adolescent and adult patients.
• Integrate patient values, best practice and evidence into care.
• Engage patients and families in the care delivery.
• Work within the defined scope of practice and communicate with the team.
