Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry (4 South) on the night shift. The role includes direct patient care, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting.

The unit emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards, with a focus on advanced cardiac monitoring and rapid response to changes in patient condition. A BSN is preferred, with RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation according to nursing standards.
• Educates patients and families on illness management, home care, and medications.
• Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities; supports professional development.
• Develops and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assists in communicating the plan of care across the continuum of care.
