Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville, part of the BJC HealthCare system, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the High Risk Cardiac (2NE) unit. It is a full-time, night-shift role eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and BSN differential plus shift differential.

Nursing licensure is required, with a BSN preferred and telemetry/cardiac experience encouraged. The RN Career Ladder supports professional development and advancement within the BJC system, rewarding higher levels with corresponding pay

Qualifications

• Telemetry/Cardiac experience is preferred.
• RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and educates on post-treatment home care and medications.
• Develops and documents plans of care with the interprofessional team to ensure continuity of care.
• Assesses patient needs across physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural dimensions.
• Shift-specific responsibilities and safety requirements for a high-risk cardiac unit.
