Job summary

BJC HealthCare in Saint Peters, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry/Cardiac unit on the Night shift. This full-time, staff position offers opportunities for professional growth through the BJC RN Career Ladder and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, contribute to care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 31-bed unit serving cardiac, telemetry, stroke and neuro patients.

Qualifications

• Education Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure required.
• No mandated experience required.
• Supervisory experience listed as a preference.
• Bachelor’s degree noted as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes patient safety and participates in professional development.
• Develops and documents plans of care with team and family.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients per standards.
• Maintain safety as a key function of the role.
