Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Telemetry unit to direct and coordinate clinical operations, staffing and quality initiatives, ensuring safe and compassionate patient care.

You will oversee budgets, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration to optimize patient throughput and staff development while guiding frontline teams through daily rounds and care coordination.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ nursing management experience required; 3–5 years cardiac experience preferred.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Cardiac telemetry familiarity and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and coordinate assigned unit operations.
• Develop and implement policies to guide service delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient throughput and discharge planning.
• Monitor compliance with JCAHO/OSHA and other standards.
• Oversee staff competency and safety training.
