Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN seeks a Nursing Station Technician for M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. This role covers 8-hour evening shifts, totaling 24 hours every two weeks, with every other weekend and benefits eligibility.

You will assist nurses, transport patients and equipment, stock supplies, and manage unit desk tasks on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit under supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• OnTrack Nursing Assistant training or Fairview Nursing Assistant program.
• Six months of direct care experience in long-term, home, or acute care.
• Enrollment in an LPN/RN/Nurse Practitioner program with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in patient care, transport patients/equipment, and set up rooms.
• Stock supplies and maintain unit desk and transcription functions.
• Coordinate communication on the patient care unit under nurse supervision.
• Deliver direct patient care and administrative duties as part of NST/NUC roles.
• Support patient flow and teamwork on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit.
