Qualifications

• Basic ECG training, reading and interpretation at time of hire or within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor cardiac rhythms and report findings to nurse.
• Document monitored recordings accurately and communicate results.
• Identify and report life-threatening arrhythmias per department protocols.
• Ensure alarms are set appropriately with RN collaboration.
• Maintain continuous coverage of the monitoring station and equipment.
