RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Director of Patient Care for the Cardiac Telemetry unit (7S) in New Jersey. This leadership role oversees a 38-bed Telemetry unit, directs nursing teams, ensures 24-hour accountability for patient care, and partners with the Nursing Leadership Team to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

The role requires a BSN, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, and 3–5 years Telemetry/ER leadership experience, with strong communication and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Active New Jersey RN license or compact license with NJ endorsement.
• BLS through AHA upon hire.
• ACLS through AHA upon hire.
• 3–5 years of Med/Surg Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience.
• National nursing certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit.
• Leads the Nursing Leadership Team for the TRMC Cardiac Telemetry service.
• Ensures 24-hour accountability for patient care delivery in cost centers.
• Oversees staffing, scheduling, and unit operations.
