Qualifications

• RN license required by state licensure
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred for cardiac telemetry
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality care with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
• Administer medications, monitor side effects, document administration.
• Collaborate to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
