Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Telemetry 5B unit. This full-time position is a .9 FTE (36 hours per week) with day shifts (7a-7p) and a welcome bonus eligible up to $35,000.

You will join a 24-bed telemetry team providing care to patients with cardiac rhythm monitoring needs and related medical/surgical care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, administering medications, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• RN license required in state or compact.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• 0–2 years clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring is valued.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare team on care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety.
• Document care timely in medical records.
