Job summary

Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is seeking a dynamic newly licensed or tenured registered nurse to join our 9ST Cardiac Surgical unit, a 48-bed unit collaborating with the CVICU, heart transplant and VAD care teams.

We welcome both new graduates and experienced RNs. Requirements include an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience; weekend program differential of $11/hr supports weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 1 year RN experience in inpatient nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Support a safe, therapeutic environment and excellent patient experience across the continuum of care.
