Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Wisconsin is seeking a newly licensed or experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgical unit on a weekend night program.

This 36-hour-per-week role covers 1900-0730 shifts, with 50% holiday requirements, and offers opportunities to contribute to a Magnet-designated team focused on patient-centered cardiac care. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 1+ yr RN experience in inpatient setting.
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care.
• A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
