Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking a dynamic newly licensed or tenured nurse to join our 9ST Cardiac Surgical unit. This 48-bed unit provides care before and after heart surgery, heart transplants, and VAD support.

Orientation occurs in two phases, focusing on surgical and transplant–level needs. Weekend differential is $11/hr. We welcome nurses new to practice and experienced RNs who are passionate about cardiac care, teamwork, and professional growth within a Magnet-designated

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA).
• 1 year RN inpatient experience.
• Strong interest in cardiac care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Promote evidence-based practice and safe patient environment across the care continuum.
