Job summary

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices is looking for a experienced Registered Nurse to join our CARDIAC SURGERY team! Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified are required, with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; cardiology experience is strongly preferred.

This FT role is in the Medical Office Building, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM or 8:30–5:00PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care for complex patients.
• Provide triage and patient care using strong assessment skills and QA checks.
• Establish and coordinate plan of care with patient/family and team.
• Expand care to include more diagnoses and complex cases.
• Triage and coordinate care to ensure access and success.
• Promote health and wellness for individuals and groups.
• Proactively manage acute and chronic diseases.
• Build trust and engage patients and families; respect social/cultural differences.
