Job summary

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Practice at 3300 Main Street, Springfield. You will care for patients with implanted cardiac devices, review data, triage alerts, and coordinate comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment.

Required MA RN license and BLS CPR certification, plus a minimum of 2 years nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license and BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Cardiology clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks/priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to partner with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors patients with implanted cardiac devices.
• Reviews data from patients and triages alerts.
• Develops and implements plans of care for complex patients.
• Coordinates patient care to ensure access and patient success.
• Promotes health and wellness for individuals and groups.
• Supports post-procedure follow up and wound care.
