Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Cardiac Surgical Service at 100 Blossom Street in Boston seeks a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider to support pre- and post-operative care under Cardiac Surgeons.

The role runs 7a-5p, Monday through Friday, and requires a Master's in Nursing or PA Studies with MA licensure as PA/NP and at least 1 year of APP experience. You will develop care plans, coordinate tests, educate patients, and assist with discharge planning and care continuity.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
• One year of APP experience preferred.
• Licensed in MA as a PA or NP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement care plans; coordinate tests and consultations; educate patients and families; prepare for discharge.
• Maintain communication between Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists, Fellows, APPs and nursing staff.
• Provide direct patient care and documentation; order tests and prescribe medications per policy.
