Job summary

Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for the Surgery division. The APP may be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and will have no on-call duties, plus an every third weekend rotation and holiday coverage.

Ideal candidates have a strong cardiac background (Cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, Telemetry) and solid knowledge of hemodynamics, with NP/PA education and prescriptive authority as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies is required.
• PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner is required.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.

Responsibilities

• Treats and evaluates patients in the surgery division.
• Administers advanced nursing care under the direction of the licensed physician.
