Job summary

Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for the Surgery division. The APP will work a 36-hour weekly schedule on a day flex shift (6am-6:30pm with flex), with no on-call duties and an every-3rd weekend rotation plus holidays.

Temple University Hospital is looking to add an Advanced Practice Provider (APP; Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Surgery division of our health system. The APP will have NO ON-CALL, an every 3rd weekend rotation, and a holiday rotation. We need for the candidate to have a strong Cardiac background such as Cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, Telemetry, etc. Candidate must be knowledgeable in hemodynamics. The APP treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
