Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team. This inpatient role involves working closely with cardiothoracic surgeons in the operating room and hospital setting to deliver exceptional perioperative and postoperative care.

The position offers three 12-hour shifts, a strong collaborative environment, and opportunities to participate in perioperative management. NJ licensure is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or eligible for New Jersey licensure.
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient-based AP role working with Cardiothoracic Surgeons in OR and hospital settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide perioperative and postoperative patient management.
