Beth Israel Lahey Health's Mount Auburn Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgery PA/NP for a full-time role. The position involves first assisting in cardiac procedures, EVH, and inpatient CT ICU care within a collaborative academic medical center.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cardiac surgery or CT ICU, possess ACLS, and hold Massachusetts PA/NP credentials with DEA registration. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany a 40-hour work week with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AAPA-accredited PA program.
• Massachusetts PA license and board certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration and DEA certification required.
• Surgical experience preferred, including ICU/surgical procedures.
• Two+ years inpatient/ICU/acute care experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patients, physicians and staff.

Responsabilités

• First assist in cardiac surgery procedures.
• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH).
• Provide care across the Cardiothoracic ICU and Step-Down Unit.
• Perform and manage bedside procedures (e.g., chest tubes).
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and transitions of care.
• Discharge planning and patient flow coordination.
