Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician to support acute cardiac/stroke/stepdown patients on the DAY SHIFT. This part-time role runs 7 AM to 7 PM and involves direct patient care, vital signs, mobility assistance, phlebotomy, EKG testing, and specimen collection under RN supervision.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent and one of the following certifications: CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, US Navy Hospital Corps School, or Current

Competenze

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or equivalent certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prior patient care experience in acute/post-acute settings is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care and support daily living activities.
• Take vital signs, monitor conditions and report changes promptly.
• Assist with mobility, phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection.
• Manage Foley catheter as directed and ensure safety protocols.
