Blanchard-Valley-Health-System is seeking a qualified Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform diagnostic stress testing and monitor patients according to protocol. The role requires patient assessment, data recording, and safe administration of pharmacologic agents as ordered.

You will operate stress equipment, respond to adverse events with BLS/ACLS, document findings, and provide pre- and post-test education.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Respiratory Care Professional by the State of Ohio.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS and ACLS certification required within three months of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to age of patient served on the unit/department.

Aufgaben

• Review clinical data and document patient histories and vital information.
• Operate stress equipment to obtain high-quality tracings.
• Monitor during stress testing and respond to adverse symptoms.
• Interpret ECG at rest and during exercise in CAD contexts.
• Administer pharmacologic agents per protocol (Lexiscan, nitroglycerin, aminophylline).
• Ensure accurate charges and statistics for procedures.
• Provide patient instructions and education regarding the procedure.
