Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Diploma-prepared nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patients during diagnostic cardiac testing and procedures.
• Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, treatment, and the plan of care.
• Administer medications and provide nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
• Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, and the care team.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by supportive personnel.
• Serve as a patient advocate with compassionate, patient-centered care.
