Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Registered Nurse for Cardiac Non-Invasive Stress Testing in Norfolk, VA. The RN provides comprehensive patient-centered care, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and EHR documentation.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes, safety, and education for patients and families throughout the testing process.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing.
• BSN preferred; RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• One to two years ambulatory or cardiac non-invasive testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after non-invasive cardiac stress testing.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-discharge care.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes with escalation per protocols.
• Document care and interventions in the electronic health record.
