AdventHealth in Burleson, Texas, is seeking a full-time Cardiac Stress Testing Technician to greet patients, position EKG leads, and coordinate nuclear medicine procedures. The role requires knowledge of treadmill exams and interpretation of stress test results, with focus on patient safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate degree preferred, and experience with cardiac imaging, EKG tracing, and stress testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with cardiac stress testing and EKG lead placement preferred.
• Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and treadmill exams.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patients for cardiac stress testing with history, skin prep, and EKG lead placement.
• Evaluates patients to ensure proper EKG tracing prior to stress testing.
• Maintains understanding of nuclear medicine procedures, stress echo, and treadmill exams to answer questions and coordinate follow-up.
• Screens and responds to patient needs; prepares departmental charts for exams.
• Participates in continuing education, meetings, and quality initiatives.
• Ensures safety of patients and staff by following procedures and maintaining a clean environment.
