Job summary

CDL Nuclear Technologies is hiring a Cardiac Stress Technician to join our clinical team in Houston, TX. In this role you will guide patients through stress testing procedures, ensure safety and accuracy, and support Nuclear Medicine Technologists and physicians at our cardiac client facilities.

The ideal candidate has EMT/paramedic experience, CPR/BLS certification, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Monitor Technician, EMT, or Paramedic with cardiac or telemetry exposure.
• IV experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Current CPR and BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• EKG certification, or CCT certification, or EMT preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and clinical labs.
• Flexibility to manage multiple and changing priorities.
• Ability to lift or assist patients on/off examination tables.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and escorting patients through the clinic.
• Obtaining brief patient histories and performing assessments.
• Starting IVs and assisting with treadmill and pharmacological stress tests.
• ECG monitoring and patient charting.
• Working under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist and physician.
