Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to supervise and perform stress tests, evaluate ECG rhythms, and respond to emergent situations in a growing cardiology stress lab. In addition, you will operate the Coumadin Clinic, review patient labs, communicate medication changes, maintain records, and participate in performance improvement efforts.

Nevada RN licensure, BLS and ACLS are required, with at least one year in IR/Telemetry or

Qualifications

• Current Nevada state Registered Nurse Licensure.
• One year experience in IR, Telemetry, Emergency Services or Critical Care required.
• Moderate Sedation experience required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient rhythm changes to the ordering Physician.
• Providing education to the patient and family members: Includes ensuring the patient and family members understand the procedure and plan of care before signing procedural consent and providing them with discharge planning/instructions.
• Inserting and removing intravenous lines.
• Administering medications including moderate sedation.
