Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU). The nurse will provide comprehensive patient care within a team of surgeons, cardiologists, and staff, using Mercy's nursing framework and processes to ensure safety and quality.

The role features a full-time schedule of 36 hours/week with Friday–Sunday night shifts (7pm–7:30am) and a weekend premium of $20/hour. Sign-on bonuses are available for experienced and new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Missouri RN licensure (or compact licensure).
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, cardiologists, and other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Support a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment on CVPCU.
