Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; handles performance actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor according to patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and assists with supplies and equipment management.
