Qualifications

• Current active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of TN, or current active multistate license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit with management.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operates nursing strategies to improve engagement and rounds scheduling for staff.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
