Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care RN for the Cardio Vascular Step Down Unit. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care before and after surgery, advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding experience.

The RN will document care in the medical record, monitor medication responses, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care. This is a day-shift, full-time position with hospital-wide collaboration.

Qualifications

• RN with Diploma and valid license.
• ACLS within 6 months of start.
• BCLS within 30 days.
• 2 years of RN experience required.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift.
• Perform clinician-ordered procedures.
• Document care in the patient chart promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
