Job summary

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon County is seeking a qualified RN for the 3 South Step Down Intermediate Care unit, caring for adults and geriatrics with cardiac disease and stroke. The role requires ACLS and stroke awareness, delivering high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

You will be the primary nurse for assigned patients, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team. Full-time day shift, 72 hours bi-weekly, 7am–7:30pm, every third weekend, with a sign-on bonus and

Qualifications

• Med/Surg RN experience required.
• Current RN license; BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred depending on unit.
• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct patient care as primary nurse on the unit.
• Safely administers prescribed treatments, meds, and nursing interventions.
• Prioritizes tasks and recognizes changes in patient status.
• Coordinates handoffs and collaborates with the care team.
• Documents patient responses and progress in the EMR.
• Partners with physicians and staff to improve patient safety and quality.
