Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required.
• 1–2 years of progressive nursing care experience required.
• Leadership and management experience preferred.
• RN licensure in DC required.
• CPR certification for healthcare providers within 90 days required.
• C-EFM certification required within 12 months for Perinatal nurses.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit/department goals and ensure policy compliance.
• Build cross-disciplinary relationships to ensure quality patient care.
• Set performance standards and conduct evaluations.
• Complete annual performance reviews.
• Maintain staffing and budget considerations.
• Promote patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Lead quality improvement projects and committees.
• Provide administrative coverage as needed.
