Job summary

High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree is preferred. ARRT RDMS/ARRT(S) and RDCS certification are expected within 1 year.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in routine and emergency echocardiograms across modalities.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D, Doppler, and transesophageal echocardiography.
  • Ability to explain procedures and potential side effects to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency echocardiograms per physician requests.
  • Record quality information and follow protocols for imaging.
  • Provide echocardiography service at multiple locations and on-call as scheduled.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment and ancillary devices.
